Where am I now?

Time is a-wasting. Right now I'm clawing my way up out of an abyss of despression capped off by a lovely chest cold. But soon, SOON, I will see to the new flooring in the studio, and get back to WORK. On the list of accomplishments, though: in the past year and a half I've added 'Ewig war ich' as an audition starter, sung a demanding performance of the end of Salome (under less than ideal conditions), and solidified the high C with the exception of the Ballo scena. These are all good things. In the next couple of months, I need to: Stage audition arias with Roy R. Get some recordings made for the website. MAKE the website, because the lack of it is the saddest thing EVER. Learn Ortrud's Curse and whatever else strikes my fancy. And after that, hopefully with Sheri's help, get this voice in front of some people who might want to USE it. Seriously, I might need to make a little sign that says "WILL SING WAGNER FOR PEANUTS." And just carry it around. I'm thinking maybe I should plan a Europe trip in the spring, too. So I'll have to make a German version.
